Planning with the Curriculum
It is impossible for an educational program to exist without the existence of a curriculum. A good curriculum is the foundation for any developmental projects in the education system, determining what should be learnt in addressing the needs and aspirations of the learners as well as the society. It is a school's daily program which includes the content, learning experiences and daily classroom practices centered on meeting the educational aims, goals and objectives.
As a teacher, I share a responsibility for student achievement, to meet student learning needs and put students on a path to success. In order to do this, I align my planning with the relevant curriculum statements, study designs, frameworks and standards.

Underneath the Planning with the Curriculum heading, you will find further information and examples regarding the implementation of the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) in my lessons.
